You're not my friend, I don't think you ever really were...

Sara told me what you want to do. I can always count on you to pick up the phone when I call but I can’t trust you with my heart. We have unbelievable physical chemistry but nothing else beyond that. There is only one time we don't fight and you know when that is. You hurt me so much, how can I trust you again?

There are three simple things I look for in a man:
1. He has to love God
2. He has to love me
3. He has to be a good role model for my future kids (that kinda encompasses everything from integrity, loyalty, self-control to courage)

You probably don’t satisfy any of those requirements.

I’ve probably only talked to Shiyou about this. I’m quite torn between wanting my next relationship to be my last and wanting many more relationships before my last.

If my next relationship is my last, it would save me from all the heartaches of break-ups and that is a huge plus.

On the other hand, each relationship is a learning experience and hopefully they better prepare me for my one and only. Plus I am soooo lonely so company would be nice. “It’s not that I’m not trying cos I’ll give anyone a shot once and I close my eyes and I kiss that frog, each time finding the more boys I meet, the more I love my dog” – Carrie Underwood.

I don’t want to be overly cautious and let a good guy pass me by because who’s to tell at the beginning of a relationship if that guy is really going to last or not?

Anyway, it’s all in God’s hands. Only He knows who I will end up with and I trust His judgment.

I woke up at 3a.m., 9.30a.m., 12p.m. and 12.40p.m. Not a good night's sleep at all. I actually paid attention during the Finance lecture. Deposited money in the bank after the lecture. Sara then followed me to the post office to collect my parcels.

I was so excited because I thought my cds arrived but it turns out that the parcel contained Rachel's stupid second hand book :( I ordered my cds before she ordered her book but her book arrived first. I also got my Martha Stewart Living Cookbook but instead of one book, I got two! What in the world am I gonna do with two of the same cookbook?!

Christopher decided to give me a nickname. Apparently my nickname is ass because that's all he sees when I'm shopping, my ass. It's not my fault everyone else is so slow!

I finally found a Carrie Underwood song that is low enough for me to sing the chorus! Unbelievable! Wheel of the world! I still can't sing the end though...need Natty for that.

Studied PBL after dinner. Part of me wishes I did law instead of commerce. It seems so interesting and believe it or not, I actually kind of enjoy studying it after I get round the initial reluctance to study. Then again, I don't agree with most of the decisions made by the courts in all those cases I've been reading. It just doesn't seem ethical and I just don't get it.

Calorie Count:
-Uncle Toby's breakfast bar (breakfast)
-Ham and cheese sandwich (lunch)
-Cream egg (tea)
-Meat pie (dinner)
-Cheerios + milk (supper)
-Cream cheese + bread (supper)
-Kraft mac & cheese (supper)

Sunday 19 April 2009

The cabin crew on the plane were super nice, unlike the cabin crew on my flight to Singapore. I bought kueh lapis for Uncle Ken and Aunty Grace so I had to declare it to customs. The system isn't consistant. When Mummy brought food into the country she just got a stamp from some guy who was walking around then she was let out without a queue. I had to queue up and everyone in front of me had their bags scanned. When it came to my turn, I didn't have to scan my bags.

Guy: *ushered me over*
Guy: You have food to declare?
Me: Yup *I passed him the cakes*
Guy: Pineapple cakes? (I think he meant pineapple tarts) *He was about to let me go till I opened my mouth*
Me: Nope
Guy: What kind of cakes?
Me: Dunno...some plain cake?
Guy: *He opened it to see*
Guy: Ok that's fine, you can go.

Thus I left. I was counting on Vodaphone being open at the airport but it wasn't because it was like 6a.m. in the morning. Shouldn't shops at the airport be open 24 hours? I had to use the payphone to call Uncle Ken because my phone credits had expired. He picked me up and dropped me at College Square. It was like 7a.m. by the time I got there and I didn't sleep at all on the plane so I conked out straight away.

I woke up at 1p.m. and had a shower. Sara was still sleeping!! I did a bit of unpacking and I kind of forgot to have lunch. Sara and I went to Vodaphone, Big W and Safeway and by the time we finished, there was no time to go to Vic Market. We planned on going the next day.

After we dropped our stuff back, we lazed around for a bit then we headed back to Big W because I needed more hangers for my clothes. I counted 13 pairs of jeans here with me in Melbourne, more back at home. You don't even want to know how many dresses I have.

Looking for a restaurant for dinner was a joke. First we tried Stalactites which was closed for Greek Easter or something like that. We then tried all sorts of Chinese restaurants (Crystal Jade, Westlake Restaurant, etc..), all of which were too expensive. Eventually we settled for Pacific BBQ again. Duck rice as usual. I was so tired that I bit my tongue while eating :(

I did my laundry when I got back. Just my sheets though because the other machine was in use. Vacuumed, wiped table tops and printed my notes too. I found out as I was staring at my notice board that Vic Market doesn't open on Mondays so we couldn't go the next day. I slept really early, just after midnight.

Calorie Count:
-Rasin roll, two grapes and a cookie (breakfast)
-Sardines on bread (tea)
-Duck Rice (dinner)
-Ham and Cheese sandwich (supper)

Today is an absolutely awful day :(

When I woke up, I found out that Daddy was in bed and he couldn’t get out. He had to cancel all his patients for the day because he couldn’t stand up. I was very worried. Mummy wanted to bring him to the hospital but he couldn’t even get up to go to the hospital.

Daddy is the only source of income for my family…if he can’t work, no one else can. There goes my education…

After lunch, I followed Mummy to pick Natty up at Popstar City. I didn’t know dbl O was in the same building as Popstar City. Natty and I went to Bakerzin at Paragon to pick up some macaroons and cakes. No scarlet though :(

Mama and Kong were at home when we got back. Mama bought a vacuum packed bolster for me but my suitcase was too full to pack it in. Mummy or Ian can bring that for me when they come to visit.

Natty didn't want to send me off initially because she was afraid she would cry but we convinced her to go. Mama, Kong, Mummy, Jelly, Natty and I left for the airport shortly after. There was a retardedly large number of people blocking the gate so I had to push my way through because 90% of the people around the gate weren’t leaving Singapore. They were sending off their relatives post Vesak Day?

The waterworks started when Mama was praying for me and they kinda didn’t stop till well actually, they still haven’t stopped. I don’t want to go back to Melbourne, I want to stay in Singapore.

At the boarding gate, I was sobbing away and the whole world was staring at me. Thank goodness I found tissues in my LV bag that I squished into my hand carry suitcase. I miss home so much! I want to stay at home!

Calorie Count:
-Chee kueh (breakfast/lunch)
-California Roll (semi-dinner)
-Chickpea salad and sweet and sour pork with noodles and Asian vegetables (dinner)
-Cadbury's chocolate bar and hot chocolate (dessert)

XOXO K
