First impressions, not the most accurate things in the world...

Wednesday 29 April 2009

I don't understand finance at all...I don't even know why I'm studying it. Just not my cup of tea. After thinking about it, I would like to open my own business, hopefully get the funds from my parents and keep it as a family business. Either A) a candy store or B) a store that sells dresses.

The candy store will be like Dylan's Candy Bar, inspired by Willy Wonka. Obviously it won't be just some ordinary candy store. The candy will be chosen by yours truly, candy that isn't already available in Singapore, something like the British Candy Store in Sydney or the Original Lolly Store here in Melbourne. Munchies, Lion bars, Toffee Crisps, Chocolate Tootsie Pops, Aeros, MilkyWay Magic Stars, Thorntons Original Special Toffee, Penguin bars, etc...Maybe I will bring in some expensive biscuits too like Yoku Moku...YUM!!! Holland V would be a good location, enough expats who miss the candy they get at home and enough school kids who love candy. I was thinking of having a milkshake counter in the store. Waffles, milkshakes, ice-cream (soft serve machines, of course!), root beer floats, etc...Simple stuff that's oh so appealling, maybe some of my home-made panna cotta and creme brulee as well. The counter will be kinda high, like a bar counter and the seats will be round stools with one leg in the centre and a red and while swirl pattern that makes them look like candy. The decor of the store will be colourful of course and just like what you'd see in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. I do like the idea of black and white tiled floors like in those old fashioned ice-cream parlours but I don't know how that would fit in with the theme of Willy Wonka...OOhhhh and there must be a jukebox!!

The dress store will be something like AVANA or The Link. Prom dresses are soooo hard to find in Singapore! I have one hell of a time when I shop for mine. More selection is required!!! Brands like Wayne Cooper, Badgley and Mischka Platinum Label, Notte by Marchesa, Versus, Nicole Miller, Carmen Marc Valvo, Marc Bouwer, ABS by Allen Schwartz, Elie Tahari, Sass & Bide, Rebecca Taylor, etc...Some of those brands are already available in Singapore but not a huge selection. Some of them are rather expensive and others not so much. Whatever it is, Singapore needs a greater variety of prom dresses for every budget!!! Maybe I'll even bring in those one off lines that aren't available in Singapore like Roberto Cavalli for H&M or Zac Posen for Target. Not sure how exactly I'm going to get those brands to let me bring them into Singapore but I will think about that when the times comes I guess. The design of the store will be full on luxury...my own vision for my future walk-in-wardrobe. Gorgeous drapery, thick carpets, full length gold framed mirrors, chaise lounge, huge ass dressing rooms, etc... :)

I entered the wrong pin too many times today while trying to draw money from my nab account. I entered the pin for my mum's card instead of my own pin :s genius ass! Thus I am currently locked out of my account and in need of cash.

Not much happened today...lecture then a quick trip to ikea to grab a few things I needed. I only grabbed those few things I needed as oppose to buying the whole store...Another reason to be proud of me! I have a thing for head pieces <3 I am absolutely fascinated by them! Bought one more in a store just outside ikea.

Quickbooks...UGGHHH!!! What a bitch!!!

Tuesday 28 April 2009

Tuesday was an awful day :(

I woke up late, seems to be the norm these past few months. During the break during my law lecture, I went to check my PBL skills task 2 results. I didn't do too well :( and I actually studied for it!

I met Dennis at the computer lab after the lecture. We tried very hard to do our ARA assignment. What a bitch?! Seriously! I spent three hours doing that shit assignment and I closed it after I thought I saved it. In that split second, three hours of my work went down the drain!!! I rarely use the f word but that was an exception. Stoopid Quickbooks!!! I cried after I found out it wasn't saved. Skipped dinner just to re-do what I lost plus more. We stayed in the lab till 9.30pm and I still wasn't done with my work.

Did I mention how much I detest Quickbooks??? I DETEST QUICKBOOKS!!!!

I was soooo starving when I got back. Had a sandwich while waiting for my pasta to boil. After dinner I had to do lunges to make myself feel better because eating so late just isn't good.

Calorie Count:
-Munchables (lunch)
-Sushi (tea)
-Ham and cheese sandwich (dinner)
-Fusilli with pesto sauce (dinner)
-2 penguin bars (dessert)

Some people are just not worth it...

Money can't buy happiness, maybe you'll learn that one day but till then, all I can do is pray. Seriously, I care too much about stupid matters but I guess that's just who I am?

Did I mention how much I detest Quickbooks??? I DETEST QUICKBOOKS!!!!

After our finance lecture, Sara and I tried to look for a computer lab in the Economics and Comerce Building but to no avail. Dennis told us to try The Spot. The lady at the Commerce Student's Centre in The Spot told us that there were no student labs in The Spot or the Economics and Commerce Building. She told us to try Bouvirie Street or the Bailleau Library. However, she did not tell us where exactly on Bouvirie Street, all she said was that the building should have a "University of Melbourne" sign on it. No building name nor number.

Sara and I walked the whole of Bouvirie Street. Practically every building on that street had a "University of Melbourne" sign on it. We came across the strangest buildings..."The Department of Textiles", "The Department of Population Health" and stuff like that. After reaching the end of the street, we headed to Union House for lunch. Lunch was followed by a trip to the Bailleau Library which by the way does not have the software we need for our assignment. Thus we headed back to Bouvirie Street.

We finally found the damn building in a little cubby hole along Bouvirie Street! Finding the building was the easy part...we couldn't even figure out how to open the file on the computers. It took us a good 20 minutes just to open the damn file. We were beyond clueless when it came to the actual work. After a few hours in the lab, we headed back for dinner with nothing accomplished.

Did I mention how much I detest Quickbooks??? I DETEST QUICKBOOKS!!!!

I cooked dinner then washed up. Met Sara and Dennis at the seminar room on my floor after that. We tried to do our Intro to Microecons assignment and we became very confused...

Dennis: You listen to country right? So like Kenny Rogers and stuff?
Sara: Kenny Rogers...is food!!! *funny expression*
Dennis and Me: HUH??? *shocked expression*

Sara didn't know that Kenny Rogers was a musician despite the records and pictures of Kenny Rogers performing all around the Kenny Rogers restaurants :s

Calorie Count:
-Munchables (snack)
-Sushi + bubble tea (lunch)
-Rack of lamb + zucchini + mash potatoes (dinner)
-Two eggs (supper)

Sunday 26 April 2009

I had to drag Sara out of bed in the morning. Vic market was calling our names. My fridge desperately needed to be re-stocked. I bought a ton of meat and vege as usual.

We had lunch on that freezing cold day while waiting for the rain to stop. After a lot of waiting (over an hour), we decided to call Jo to see if he still had his car. He was nice enough to pick us up. Unfortunately, after we called him, the rain stopped.

We dropped our stuff off at College Sqaure then he dropped us at church. Naughty boy drove off after dropping us off so he didn't attend church. Towards the end of the service while we were praying, this disturbed lady ran through the isles screaming for some guy called "alem". She was seriously disturbed thus she had to be forcabley removed by security. Sara and I thought she was looking for an ex-boyfriend or something like that. Aunty Grace thought it was a play at first, she was waiting for the next scene. Despite that interruption, the service was pretty good. Less screaming, more learning.

Sara and I were very worried after the service ended. We tried looking for Aunty Grace because we didn't see her in any of the seats but she didn't pick up any of our calls or reply to my sms. Sara called her house and Uncle Mark said they were all at church. We waited for ages but couldn't find her at the exit. Finally, the last people to come out were Nadia, Siska and Aunty Grace. Hooray!! They were found!!

We followed them to the city to buy flowers and Aunty Grace told me some unsettling stuff. All we can do is pray I guess, pray that people find their way. I am quite bothered about it though, can't seem to wrap my mind around it. I have a ton of questions but my thoughts are pretty jumbled up so I don't know what I'm thinking. I never knew everything was that bad...

Sara and I met Jo for sushi after Aunty Grace left for a house warming party then Jo and I went for dinner at Lygon. Meg and Rachel met us for dinner after we finished our dinner because apparently Jo is really bad at giving directions. Ming and his friends Daniel and Albert met us too.

Rachel had a half an hour conversation on whether the "chicken rice soup" on the menu was chicken plus rice in soup or porridge (not oats) or chicken flavoured rice in soup. Finally she decided to ask the waiter to find out.

The other long conversation of the night was about bones. Rachel didn't know that salmon fish have bones. Meg didn't know that sharks have bones. Ming argued that eels have bones but Rachel said that eels only have cartilage. I think it was Daniel who said that jellyfish don't have bones but Rachel argued that they did because she read it on a bottle cap. I was pretty silent throughout the dinner, you know me right? Shy as always.

We went to Freddo's after dinner. Ice-cream on that freezing cold day? No thank Q! I was supposed to meet Sara half way inbetween Freddo's and College Square because she was afraid she would get lost. I made it all the way back to College Sqaure and I still had to wait for her in that freezing weather because she still wasn't ready and she didn't answer her phone. We did finally make it back to Freddo's just as Meg, Ming and Rachel were leaving. Sara then decided to tell me that she didn't feel like having ice-cream and I was like "WHATTTT????". After my long walk in the cold, she doesn't even want ice-cream??? She did get ice-cream in the end, just to make me happy.

I had a ton of laundry to do when I got back. I had to wait for the machines though because they were in use. After the machines were emptied, I carried one basket to the laundry room. I then left to get my other basket. On my way out of my door, I saw this girl heading to the laundry room so I sped up. She actually opened the door for me and I hogged the machines. Although I was there first, it didn't look like it because there were two other girls in the room using the dryers so my first basket didn't look like it was mine. She must think I'm an absolute bitch because I took both the machines so she couldn't use them. In my defense, I was there first and I had a ton of laundry that I was struggling to carry, she on the other hand only had a few towels in her hands (no basket needed).

The usual Sunday routine followed. Wiping table tops, vacuuming the floor and printing my notes. I only finished everything at like 3am. I was seriously pooped after all that!

Calorie Count:
-Cheerios + milk (breakfast)
-Fish and chips (lunch)
-Sushi (snack)
-Quatro fromagio fettucine (dinner)
-Choco chip muffin bar (supper)
-Grapes (supper)

Saturday 25 April 2009

Sara and I slept in till like 2pm then we trammed to Docklands. We fell in love with this cheap arse shoe store. The shoes are seriously gorgeous!! I bought two pairs and Sara bought three :D

Sara: Oh no! We forgot to have lunch!
Me: Screw lunch! We have shoes!

Did I tell you how much I detest Gloria Jean's?! The cashier was sooooo blurrr!!! She had glasses at the tip of her nose and her mouth hung open like it was supposed to catch flies.

Cashier: You want cret? You want cret?
Sara: HUH???
Cashier: You want cret?
Sara: Oh you mean whipped cream? No cream please.
Cashier: Ya whit cret!
Sara: No cream please.
Cashier: What's your name?
Sara: Sara. S, A, R, A.

The cashier typed her name onto the system. Her name was entered as "Sera". She forgot our order but when she did remember, I got my apple juice in a bottle that couldn't be opened!

Apart from that one shoe store, Harbourtown is pretty uneventful. It started raining towards the end of our shopping trip. My Uggs are not waterproof :( We rushed and made it to the tram just in time.

Jo picked us up for dinner with Meaghan and her boyfriend after we returned from Harbourtown. Meg was too tired to go for dinner so Sara, Jo and I went to Southgate without her and her boyfriend. On the way there, Sara said, "my toes are so toasty despite being exposed to the elements". Jo and I gave her a weird look. I'd never heard anyone describe peep-toe shoes like that.

Bistro Vite was the restaurant of choice after a lot of looking around. Vite means quickly in french but they were not very quick when it came to serving our food. We froze to death while eating outside and I just refused to wear my jacket. The waiter was much better than that ghastly waitress at Grecco's. Quite a nice dinner compared to the shit I've been eating at other Melbourne restaurants.

It was freezing when we walked back to Crown. Sara said, "I want a boyfriend who loves my feet so he can hug them when they are cold". HAHAHA!!! Boyfriend with a foot fetish!

Of course we had to go to the arcade! I finally got to ride on my simulator which turned out to be an absolute joke! I won an eraser, a whopee cushion and a bouncy ball with my tickets.

Curse Grecco's!!!! I can't for the life of me understand why we keep going back there when the staff and the food is awful!!! We arrived at the counter when no one else was there but there was no one at the counter to serve us. After other people started coming, a waitress came to the counter.

Me: Can I have one lemon meringue pie,...
Waitress: Wait behind that guy *points her finger* (just because he happened to stand right in front of a cash register which is hidden so no one can see)
Me: But we were here first
Waitress: Yeah, wait behind that guy
Me: But we were here before anyone else was here!!
Waitress: Wait behind that guy
Me: WHAT THE F***!!! ARE YOU STUPID????...Ok so I didn't say that but I was thinking it.

After we finally got to order, Sara asked for a reciept. The cashier did not know how to print a reciept and when she did figure out how to print one, she printed and gave us a reciept with many other people's orders on it. They didn't even give us boxes for our cakes, they came in paper bags. Seriously curse Grecco's!!!

I gave Sara and Jo something to laugh about on the way back to his apartment. What was so funny? I don't know. They were very amused though. When we got back to the apartment, I peeled off the paper which was on top of my chocolate cheesecake and that was when the chocolate fight began. I chased Jo around the apartment and eventually smooshed chocolate on his face (after Sara tried to strip him) then I ran to the bathroom to hide. Just when I thought everything was ok, I opened the toilet door and bam, Jo tried to smoosh chocolate in my face. The inevitable happened next, Jo and I smooshed chocolate in Sara's face. Ming was sitting there so amused by what was going on. My first food fight...stoopid boy ruined my brand new, dry clean only, white dress.

Sara washed up and changed into Jo's t-shirt. I took a shower because I was too grossed out having chocolate in my hair. Jo showered after I was done with the bathroom. Sara was sitting across from me when I was eating my not very nice cheesecake. She was trying to figure out what smelled. She smelt her hair and everything else but she couldn't figure it out. Finally she smelt Jo's shirt and boy did it smell! Her expression was sooo funny!

Jo sent us home after everyone was done washing up. What an eventful night...

What a boring day is all I can say.

I got back my intro to microecons assignment. 9.5/10, not too shabby.

PBL test was shit. It was so tricky, the answer could have been all of the above but obviously it wasn't.

Sara and I are the only two fools who stay at home doing nothing on a Friday night :(

I am such a pig, I sleep too much!

Thursday 23 April 2009

I woke up late today...very very late :( I don't know why I'm so sleepy all the time. Sara and I went to the Myer mid-season sale after lunch. I wanted many things...very pretty dresses but I restrained myself. Aren't you proud of me? I did buy a velour hoodie for $35, irresistible price huh?

I started cooking when I got back. Somehow everything I cook here just doesn't taste as nice as when I cook it at home in Singapore. Maybe it's my mood...being here is depressing so it shows in my food. I always say the secret ingredients are love and passion! Those two ingredients seem to be missing over here in Aussie land. Dinner was really early so I took a nap after.

After my nap I tried to do my ARA tutorial but to no avail. I then tried to study PBL but unfortunately for me, I can't seem to remember anything :( Eventually, I gave up and started singing along to iTunes instead. Sara's got me addicted to True by Ryan Cabrera...a few weeks ago I didn't even know who he was :s

My bathroom smells awesome right now! Coconut and vanilla, yum! It's not a special occasion but I just felt like treating myself tonight. I lit my vanilla scented candle and used my kiehls coconut shampoo and conditioner while singing along to the songs on my iphone. Usually my showers only last three songs but tonight, it lasted at least five songs. I feel so squeaky clean now :D

Calorie Count:
-2 dory fillets with potato nuggets (lunch)
-Chocolate chip muffin bar (tea)
-Cumberland pie (dinner)
-2 chocolate covered swiss roll (dessert)
-Chips and spinach, cashew and parmesan dip (supper)

Wednesday 22 April 2009

After finance lecture I took a nap. Sara and I met for pilates after our naps. Pilates was rather strange. I had no idea what in the world I was doing. The teacher kept saying "neutral, contract, find your centre, etc..." and I was like "?????". Plus everytime she said inhale, I exhaled and when she said exhale, I inhaled.

We had dinner at this food court like place along Faraday. $10 and you get to pick three dishes plus $8 and you get a quiche with two salads so Sara and I shared our dinner.

I tried to study PBL when I got back but I only finished reading the notes, I didn't get round to the book. Sara and I ended up having a really stupid conversation on the phone.

We discussed proposals. I used to watch this show, when I was still in Singapore, called Perfect Proposal with Nikki Boyer on Discovery Home & Health. This one guy made a "will you marry me?" sign in lights and he hung it in the trees in some garden and when the girl came around, it lit up. Another guy built a life size gingerbread house and he hid inside it. He popped out with a ring when the girl came around. This other guy rented a suit of armour and a horse so he rode up on horse back to propose like a knight in shining armour. Kinda unglam though because he didn't know how to walk in that suit. Of course there is the proposal in "My Sweet Home Alabama" where he closes the whole Tiffany & Co store in New York and asks her to pick any ring she wants. Plus when Ross and Rachel pretended to be engaged and Ross told everyone how he proposed to Rachel. In the planetarium, the roof opened to expose the stars, there were lilies everywhere (Rachel's favourite flower) and he proposed underneath the stars. The facebook quiz just gave me an idea. Close the whole of Disneyland down and propose standing in front of the castle!

Sara said I better refer my future husband to her so she can brief him on how to propose to me. Underneath the stars when we are dressed elegantly on a cool night in the park with roses and candles all around. No one else should be around, it should be just us. A blimp will fly overhead flashing "will you marry me?" and he will get down on one knee with nothing less than a little blue box. When I say yes, there will be fireworks and a private yacht to take us on a cruise of the river. Damn, I need a rich boy :s

I do want the proposal to be a surprise but I also want it to be discussed first. There is nothing worse than him proposing and me not being ready to become engaged. Thus it has to be discussed but then it won't be a surprise and that sucks! I am too demanding.

Now for the ring. Mummy's diamond is from Mondial. Ever since I was little, I've wanted a little blue box but now, it seems like I want the box more than a Tiffany's ring itself. Tiffany's quality ain't great, it's all in the name. Cartier seems more like it or maybe even some regular jeweler that sells top quality diamonds. None of those cheap arse chains though, no SK Jewelry, no Lee Hwa Jewelry, no Goldheart, none of that stuff. It shouldn't be too big or too flashy but not too small either. Just the right size, plain and classy. 2 carat, 3 is a bit too big. Platinum or white gold. Clarity: FL/IF. Colour: D. Tiffany's Round Brilliant with Channel-set Band/Round Brilliant with Pear-shaped Side Stones/Lucida are three possibilities. Whatever it is, it has to be top quality, nothing but the best!

It seems rather strange that I am thinking about all this stuff when I don't even have a man right now but I've been thinking about all this since I was four years old! It's perfectly normal to me. I mean I start planning my birthday party the day after my birthday so I have a whole year to plan it.

It's my blog after all. The purpose of the blog is to record my inner thoughts, however strange they may be.

Calorie Count:
-Ham and cheese sandwich (lunch)
-Cannelloni, spinach quiche, noodles, beef, ceasar salad and pasta salad (dinner)
-Biscuit with chocolate and jam (dessert)
-Chocolate covered swiss roll (dessert)

Thou shall not shop! Thou shall really not shop!! Thou shall really really not shop!!!

Yesterday while I was iChatting with Sara and Jo, we took some snapshots of our video conference. I thought the video conference had frozen because it was super laggy to begin with and neither Sara nor Jo were moving. I was trying to figure out how to fix it but then I realized that I was staring at a picture and the video conference was in another window!

Sara uses olive oil to deep fry beer battered fish!!! Who in the world uses olive oil for deep frying?!

Tuesday 21 April 2009

I woke up super late today :D just in time for PBL lecture. Bubble tea before Microecons lecture seems to be the norm every Tuesday.

Sara and I went to Melbourne Central after our lessons. We had a quick dinner before watching "The Fast and the Furious"...it's still upsetting that we didn't get to meet Vin Diesel and Paul Walker :( The movie was nice, I came out feeling so pumped up, all ready to fight the bad guys!

I finally uploaded the video of Natty singing on the way to the airport after many failed attempts. Not her best performance but go check it out anyway. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/video/video.php?v=1080083919408

There was one point during the movie when I thought that I was at Lido and I thought that after the movie I could just walk out, flag a taxi and go home, back to my lovely bed. I got slightly teary when I realized that I was at Hoyts, not Lido. It's almost unreal being here and not at home. I know I've been here since Feburary but the initial excitement of being in a new place kept me going till now. I really really want to go home.

People are gonna say "I told you so". I was told that having to re-adjust after going home for Easter would be hard that's why people didn't go back during Easter and that's why Sara almost didn't. I say, it was worth it. It was worth it because I got to see Mummy, Daddy, Angelica, especially Natty, Mama, Kong and even Rachel. Why would I want to suffer here during Easter break knowing that I could have gone back? I went back and enjoyed myself. Re-adjusting is hard yes but knowing that I could have seen them but didn't is even harder.

During iChat I said, "Jo is wearing brown again!". He thought I said, "who's listening to Chris Brown again?".

You're not my friend, I don't think you ever really were...

Sara told me what you want to do. I can always count on you to pick up the phone when I call but I can’t trust you with my heart. We have unbelievable physical chemistry but nothing else beyond that. There is only one time we don't fight and you know when that is. You hurt me so much, how can I trust you again?

There are three simple things I look for in a man:
1. He has to love God
2. He has to love me
3. He has to be a good role model for my future kids (that kinda encompasses everything from integrity, loyalty, self-control to courage)

You probably don’t satisfy any of those requirements.

I’ve probably only talked to Shiyou about this. I’m quite torn between wanting my next relationship to be my last and wanting many more relationships before my last.

If my next relationship is my last, it would save me from all the heartaches of break-ups and that is a huge plus.

On the other hand, each relationship is a learning experience and hopefully they better prepare me for my one and only. Plus I am soooo lonely so company would be nice. “It’s not that I’m not trying cos I’ll give anyone a shot once and I close my eyes and I kiss that frog, each time finding the more boys I meet, the more I love my dog” – Carrie Underwood.

I don’t want to be overly cautious and let a good guy pass me by because who’s to tell at the beginning of a relationship if that guy is really going to last or not?

Anyway, it’s all in God’s hands. Only He knows who I will end up with and I trust His judgment.

Monday 20 April 2009

I woke up at 3a.m., 9.30a.m., 12p.m. and 12.40p.m. Not a good night's sleep at all. I actually paid attention during the Finance lecture. Deposited money in the bank after the lecture. Sara then followed me to the post office to collect my parcels.

I was so excited because I thought my cds arrived but it turns out that the parcel contained Rachel's stupid second hand book :( I ordered my cds before she ordered her book but her book arrived first. I also got my Martha Stewart Living Cookbook but instead of one book, I got two! What in the world am I gonna do with two of the same cookbook?!

Christopher decided to give me a nickname. Apparently my nickname is ass because that's all he sees when I'm shopping, my ass. It's not my fault everyone else is so slow!

I finally found a Carrie Underwood song that is low enough for me to sing the chorus! Unbelievable! Wheel of the world! I still can't sing the end though...need Natty for that.

Studied PBL after dinner. Part of me wishes I did law instead of commerce. It seems so interesting and believe it or not, I actually kind of enjoy studying it after I get round the initial reluctance to study. Then again, I don't agree with most of the decisions made by the courts in all those cases I've been reading. It just doesn't seem ethical and I just don't get it.

Calorie Count:
-Uncle Toby's breakfast bar (breakfast)
-Ham and cheese sandwich (lunch)
-Cream egg (tea)
-Meat pie (dinner)
-Cheerios + milk (supper)

Sunday 19 April 2009

The cabin crew on the plane were super nice, unlike the cabin crew on my flight to Singapore. I bought kueh lapis for Uncle Ken and Aunty Grace so I had to declare it to customs. The system isn't consistant. When Mummy brought food into the country she just got a stamp from some guy who was walking around then she was let out without a queue. I had to queue up and everyone in front of me had their bags scanned. When it came to my turn, I didn't have to scan my bags.

Guy: *ushered me over*
Guy: You have food to declare?
Me: Yup *I passed him the cakes*
Guy: Pineapple cakes? (I think he meant pineapple tarts) *He was about to let me go till I opened my mouth*
Me: Nope
Guy: What kind of cakes?
Me: Dunno...some plain cake?
Guy: *He opened it to see*
Guy: Ok that's fine, you can go.

Thus I left. I was counting on Vodaphone being open at the airport but it wasn't because it was like 6a.m. in the morning. Shouldn't shops at the airport be open 24 hours? I had to use the payphone to call Uncle Ken because my phone credits had expired. He picked me up and dropped me at College Square. It was like 7a.m. by the time I got there and I didn't sleep at all on the plane so I conked out straight away.

I woke up at 1p.m. and had a shower. Sara was still sleeping!! I did a bit of unpacking and I kind of forgot to have lunch. Sara and I went to Vodaphone, Big W and Safeway and by the time we finished, there was no time to go to Vic Market. We planned on going the next day.

After we dropped our stuff back, we lazed around for a bit then we headed back to Big W because I needed more hangers for my clothes. I counted 13 pairs of jeans here with me in Melbourne, more back at home. You don't even want to know how many dresses I have.

Looking for a restaurant for dinner was a joke. First we tried Stalactites which was closed for Greek Easter or something like that. We then tried all sorts of Chinese restaurants (Crystal Jade, Westlake Restaurant, etc..), all of which were too expensive. Eventually we settled for Pacific BBQ again. Duck rice as usual. I was so tired that I bit my tongue while eating :(

I did my laundry when I got back. Just my sheets though because the other machine was in use. Vacuumed, wiped table tops and printed my notes too. I found out as I was staring at my notice board that Vic Market doesn't open on Mondays so we couldn't go the next day. I slept really early, just after midnight.

Calorie Count:
-Rasin roll, two grapes and a cookie (breakfast)
-Sardines on bread (tea)
-Duck Rice (dinner)
-Ham and Cheese sandwich (supper)

Saturday 18 April 2009

Today is an absolutely awful day :(

When I woke up, I found out that Daddy was in bed and he couldn’t get out. He had to cancel all his patients for the day because he couldn’t stand up. I was very worried. Mummy wanted to bring him to the hospital but he couldn’t even get up to go to the hospital.

Daddy is the only source of income for my family…if he can’t work, no one else can. There goes my education…

After lunch, I followed Mummy to pick Natty up at Popstar City. I didn’t know dbl O was in the same building as Popstar City. Natty and I went to Bakerzin at Paragon to pick up some macaroons and cakes. No scarlet though :(

Mama and Kong were at home when we got back. Mama bought a vacuum packed bolster for me but my suitcase was too full to pack it in. Mummy or Ian can bring that for me when they come to visit.

Natty didn't want to send me off initially because she was afraid she would cry but we convinced her to go. Mama, Kong, Mummy, Jelly, Natty and I left for the airport shortly after. There was a retardedly large number of people blocking the gate so I had to push my way through because 90% of the people around the gate weren’t leaving Singapore. They were sending off their relatives post Vesak Day?

The waterworks started when Mama was praying for me and they kinda didn’t stop till well actually, they still haven’t stopped. I don’t want to go back to Melbourne, I want to stay in Singapore.

At the boarding gate, I was sobbing away and the whole world was staring at me. Thank goodness I found tissues in my LV bag that I squished into my hand carry suitcase. I miss home so much! I want to stay at home!

Calorie Count:
-Chee kueh (breakfast/lunch)
-California Roll (semi-dinner)
-Chickpea salad and sweet and sour pork with noodles and Asian vegetables (dinner)

I don't wanna go back to Melbourne :'(

Friday 17 April 2009

Met Nat, Jayne and Clari for lunch today at Fish & Co. Rachel was MIA again. We walked around the whole of Orchard looking for coats but to no avail. I did get a pair of limited edition frankie b jeans though :)

Rachel (my sister) tried to alter my jeans when I got home but I didn't trust her so I made Mummy bring me to the tailors. I walked around Far East while waiting for my jeans and Mummy bought rubbish.

Dinner was at Hai Tien Lo with my family and grandparents...my last good Chinese meal for the next few months :(

After dinner Ian came over and we walked to Newton before deciding that we wanted to go to Holland V for dessert so we then cabbed to Holland V. We couldn't find 2am dessert bar so we settled for this other restaurant, I think it's called Miyuki. I'm sure it took over the Marmalade Pantry at Holland. I had the Granny Smith and Aloe Vera Crumble. He came over to help me pack after dessert. My suitcase is overflowing :(:(:(:( I have no space!!!

The week has gone by so quickly :( I want to stay in Singapore!!!

Some people just disappoint me, you think they are your friends but they turn out to be nothing but strangers.

I just have to blog about what my grandpa did. During the March holidays, my family went to Bali. Mummy, my sisters and my grandma were flying a day before my dad and grandpa. Angelica's passport was expiring and no one realized till they arrived at the airport so she had to be left behind. My grandpa then realized that his passport was expiring too so both of them went to the passport office and tried to get new passports.
Grandpa: When will our passports be ready?
Clerk: In about a week.
They were booked on a flight the next day so that wouldn't work.
Grandpa: Do you know how old I am?
Clerk: Err...no?
Grandpa: I'm 78 years old! This could be my last holiday!
Clerk: Oh...Ok your passports will be ready for you at 5pm.
Thus they were able to get to Bali for their holiday.

Thursday 16 April 2009

Slept in super late today :)

Met Sara for 17 Again. It was a nice movie but not one of my favourites. After the movie we went shoe shopping then I picked up my dry cleaning from Hyatt.

More lazing around at home then I picked up Mummy and Daddy's watches from the Rolex service centre. Dinner at Yan Ting. The silky mango roll is soooooo yummyy!!!

Today was slow-ish and I have yet to do any revision for my PBL test next week.

Wednesday 15 April 2009

I met Suyee at Shaw after I picked up my stuff from the tailors and dropped it at Hyatt for dry cleaning. We had lunch at Canele's and talked for a while then she walked with me to Centrepoint.

I did ear candling at daddy's clinic then had a mani, pedi next door. OPI J11, so different from what I'm used to. I felt so polished after all that :)

Dinner at home then I lazed around a bit before getting ready for Mambo. Jo and Kenrick came over while I was getting ready for Mambo and much, much later Sara came over. Fish was super unfriendly. We hung around Velvet for a bit then Nat and Rachel came. I hadn't seen Nat or Rachel in agesss!!! I was so excited!!! Don't even know who else was around that night because I was so happy to see Nat! Chris came for a short while but he had to leave shortly after.

All of them went off to Phuture first while I had a short conversation with Sara. When Sara and I tried to find them, it was an absolute nightmare! We squeezed through the whole dance floor only to find everyone at some rather empty corner all the way at the other side of the dance floor. I dropped my byTerry lipgloss because my pouch opened and I started screaming. Some guy tapped me on the shoulder holding my lipgloss and I was like hooray!!! I looked like a fool! We left Phuture for Zouk just after Sara and I found everyone.

Sara was sad because she had just seen Ben for the last time probably in her life. Jo stayed with Sara while Nat, Rachel and I went dancing. Apparently Ian saw me on the dance floor...I looked like an idiot because I thought no one was looking so we were all like spoofing the Mambo moves and we looked like fools! My feet couldn't take it after a while so it was back to Velvet then home shortly after.

Tuesday 14 April 2009

Mummy, Rachel and I went to Tangs and Isetan to look around then Rachel and I had lunch at Mezza9 <3 Carrot soup and beef tenderloin with mash. Mummy dropped me at Palais and I met Jo there. Edwin cut his hair while I played sextuple. Just as we were driving out of Palais, we saw Chris walking to Palais so we picked him up and drove to Isetan Scotts. I was so insistant on parking at the Isetan carpark instead of the Shaw Centre carpark but after lots of waiting, we had to settle for the Shaw Centre carpark because the Isetan carpark was full.

After they bought their bubble tea, Jo tried on lots of shirts at the Boss sale and he eventually bought the same shirt that I bought for my dad that morning. We bought tickets for Knowing and Sara met us wayyy later. When I was ordering my iced chocolate from Starbucks, I almost said "iced hot chocolate" because I forgot that they put iced chocolate on the menu.

I thought Knowing was like a National Treasure kind of show but apparently it's bloody scary!!! My eyes were closed during half of the film and I covered my ears so tightly that my fingers hurt. It didn't help that Jo threw popcorn at both Sara and I. Not a nice show at all!!!

We walked to Taka after the show. I walked at Singapore pace while Jo and Sara walked at Melbourne pace and Chris walked at Perth pace. All those slow pokes! Chris is excused because of his toe injury but the rest have no excuse. Sara and I bought boxers from 2xist. I also bought a small present for myself, it came in a little blue box...sssshhhhh!!!

We walked Sara to the taxi stand then the three of us walked back to Shaw. Chris went off to meet his friend while Jo and I went to pick Natty and Cerr up from Sporty Joe's. All of us then went home for dinner. Ikea meatballs, oxtail stew and mac and cheese. My family eats a lottt. After dinner we played tai tee and as usual, the queen of tai tee a.k.a yours truly, won. Jo left shortly after to change cars with his parents.

Jo came back then Sara popped over and we all went to Bellini Grande. Who's smart ass idea was it to put the top down? Sara's! Thus our hair flew everywhere!!! Stooopid people tried to order a Cinderella for me but the bartender didn't know what a Cinderella was so Sara suggested a fruit punch. It's so odd, people going to those kinda places and ordering mocktails.

Supper at Newton was disappointing :( nothing was open. Thus we did not have carrot cake.

Calorie counts for this week will be excluded because I am going to be an absolute pig :D

Absolutely love being home <3

Monday 13 April 2009

Mum dropped Rachel and I at Far East Plaza so I could drop my stuff off at the tailors. She then picked us up and we went to Paragon. Mama, Ko Po Madeline, Mummy, Rachel and I had lunch at Crystal Jade (Paragon) which in my opinion is the best Crystal Jade. After lunch Rachel followed me to Wisma and we bought dresses then we went to Tangs and I bought lipgloss and mineral powder from byTerry and moisturizer from Kiehls <3.

I sent Rachel off first because she was late for her brows appointment. That genius walked back to Paragon because she thought that we were doing our brows at Browhaus Paragon despite my telling her numerous times that we were going to Wheelock. I arrived first even though my appointment was 15 minutes after hers. Threading was surprisingly fast and unpainful.

Mum picked us up at the taxi stand and she brought us to Holland V so she could change money to Aussie dollars. I had bubble tea again...as if I don't have enough of that in Melbourne :s. Grocery shopping at Jelita followed by picking Angelica up from cheer.

Dinner at Margarita's! Who doesn't love Dempsey?! Although it is rather quiet on Mondays.

Sunday 12 April 2009

I brought Angelica to Oasis at Hyatt for breakfast. Scrambled eggs <3. Apparently I am the only one who still likes them. Sara doesn't like them anymore, Daddy doesn't like them and Angelica thinks they taste the same as my scramble eggs.

Jo picked me up for the Kid's 21 and Milk Fund charity talent show thing at Hard Rock that Natty was performing in. Natty was awesome but I'm bias so that's just my opinion. I won a DKNY umbrella and DKNY backpack during the lucky dip. We hung around at home for a while after the performance.

Dinner at RTC chinese restaurant. Jo picked Aunty Maria up and we met them there. Chinese food never tasted so good :) I was dying in Melbourne with all that crap chinese food. We bowled after dinner. I kinda sucked real bad! Rachel improved tremendously since I last bowled with her...amazing huh? SBURG lost because Natty kept stealing his turns.

Saturday 11 April 2009

After I woke up, I did Natty's make-up then Mama picked Rachel, Natty and I up and we went to Vivo. The Dazzlers were supposed to report at 12pm but the performance wasn't till 3pm! I don't know what exactly they did during that time because Dion wasn't there for the first half an hour at least and their lunch break was from 1pm-2.30pm. I had no idea that there was a Marche at Vivo! Not as good as the old Marche at Heeren but still <3. Natty screwed up her performance majorly! Her timing was off and she overreacted when the smoke machine blew smoke on stage.

We rested at home for a while before we headed to British Club for dinner at the pub. Pool is probably the only reason we go to the pub. Another early night for me!

Friday 10 April 2009

I woke up, cooked lunch for Sara, Claire and I then rushed to finish washing up and throwing out the trash before Uncle Ken and Aunty Joanne came to pick me up to go to the airport. I was so nervous I was gonna be late that I kept clenching my fists during the whole ride to the airport. Even though I was late, the Qantas queue was empty while the SIA queue was a mile long thus I checked-in in a jiffy while Sara took ages to check-in. I bought three boxes of krispy kremes then headed to the boarding gate.

Tears filled my eyes throughout the whole ride back to Singapore, I was soooo excited to go home! There was this blasted baby near me on the plane who kept crying thus I didn't get a wink of sleep. I watched Marley and Me, Last Chance Harvey and High School Musical 3 on the plane. I wasn't impressed with any of those movies. While I was queuing up for the toilet, I saw this awful Singaporean man. He was an embarrassment! He was out of his seat, blocking the toilet queue even though he didn't need to use the toilet. While he was leaning against the emergency exit, he finished his ice-cream and threw the ice-cream stick on the emergency exit then he started a conversation with this Australian woman who was in the toilet queue. It went something like this...

Man: Are you going to Singapore? I'm Singaporean!
Woman: No, I'm transiting in Singapore on my way to London.
Man: Oh what are you going to do in Sri Lanka?
Woman: No, I'm going to London.
Man: I was in Australia visiting my in-laws, or should I say out-laws...HAHAHAHA!!!
Woman: *look of distaste*

I hope I never see that man on the streets, he is an embarrassment to Singaporeans. The lady sitting next to me on the plane was heading to Singapore to watch her son perform in CATS at the Esplanade. Her son lives in London and he is one of the lead cats in the musical.

I was soooo excited when I touched down and after I pick up my luggage from the conveyerbelt, I saw my family waving to me through the glass, I couldn't help but cry. Tears just flooded my cheeks and everyone waiting for people at the gate stared at me when I walked out sobbing.

Mummy bought hokkien mee for me from Newton Circus because I was dying for normal food after all that plane junk.

Sleeping in my room for the first night was strange...it felt different, like it wasn't my room but I am still unbelievabley glad to be home!

Thursday 9 April 2009

I woke up late today...booooo me! Sara came over for lunch and we ate leftovers, I'm trying to clear out my fridge.

Bridge road <3 one more Versace dress <333

Aunty Grace picked us up from the tram stop outside her place then we headed to Westfield to get stuff for my Mum. No where sells gammon ham!! It's impossible to find! I bought tons of chocolate though and bircher museli and brussel sprouts.

Aunty Grace made hamburgers and Siemac came downstairs with his shirt on back to front and inside out...I thought it was on purpose but turns out, it was an accident! He then went to fix his shirt but when he came back, it was the right way round but still inside out!

We rushed home after dinner to pack. UGGHH!!! I tried to do my laundry but everytime I went to the laundry room, the machines were in use! Finally after many loads of other people's laundry, I got to do mine. I also vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen sink, wiped the tables and the window sills and cleaned the stove. After my clothes were done in the washing machine, I wanted to use the dryer but this darn person left their finished laundry in the dryer for more than an hour!!! I was pissed!!! I started trying to do laundry at like 8pm and I only finished at 11.45pm!!!

Packing was surprisingly quick so that was good :) All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

Look out Singapore, the Princess is coming home ;)

Wednesday 8 April 2009

It was horrid trudging out of bed this morning for my Finance tute. I totally don't understand Finance. It's not that I don't try to do my tutorial, I do. I read the questions and check my notes and stuff but I still don't know how to do them! On the bright side, I got a H1 for my Finance assignment which I didn't know how to do :)

I had mac and cheese for the fourth time because I made too much the first time :s . After lunch I met Sara again for our Finance lecture followed by our replacement ARA tute.

We went to Myers once we were done with school because I needed to buy Easter eggs for my baby sister! Once I got home I started cooking...BBQ ribs with coleslaw and mash :D

Calorie Count:
-Uncle Toby's breakfast bar (breakfast)
-Mac and cheese again! (lunch)
-California roll (snack)

Tuesday 7 April 2009

Sara and I were naughty girls today...we skipped school but with good reason! We did work! Well, one graph for our intro to microecons assignment. It was a hard graph okay?! It took Dennis, Sara and I to figure out that one graph! When we were done with that we went to Hoyts to buy our movie tickets then we had dinner at Old Town Cafe. I had the yellowest lemon chicken I've ever seen! It was bright yellow!!! That can't be a good thing...

Sara took away noodles for Claire then we dropped it off at College Square. I also picked up my camera just in case anyone famous was at Hoyts because when we bought our movie tickets, we saw a red carpet with barriers for the premier of The Fast and the Furious.

When we arrived at Hoyts, there were lots of people screaming around the barriers...Sara and I couldn't recognize anyone so we walked up to the cinema. I bought maltesers and I asked the cashier if anyone famous was gonna be there. She said, "Vin Diesel and Paul Walker but I'm not sure, do you want me to check for you?" and duh! I said, "yes please!". Turns out Vin Diesel and Paul Walker were supposed to be there but they called in sick at the last minute so the only people who were gonna show up were the Aussie tv stars...Oh what a shame! The almost encounter with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker...

Pink Panther 2 was funny of course but not as good as the first show. We were sitting slightly too close to the screen as well. I did my ARA decision making when I got back and that was the end of the night :)

-Lemon chicken with rice (dinner)

Monday 6 April 2009

A debate on articles that I didn't read...I wonder how that would go...Surprisingly, not too bad especially since I didn't have to talk much :) I had to go to Sara's intro to micro tute this week because my tute is on Good Friday which is a holiday, yay! Finance lecture was as usual zzzzz.....

As soon as I got back, I started work on my microecons assignment. On paper, it would have taken me 30 minutes to do but because I had to draw 8 econs graphs on microsoft word, it took me more than 4 hours!!! Absolute rubbish! The quality of my answers was compromised because I was so stressed drawing graphs!

Well that's done and over with, thank goodness! Nothing much happened tonight...just lounging around my lonesome apartment...

XOXO K

All the words I couldn't say...

Calorie Count:
-Uncle Toby's breakfast bar (breakfast)

Sunday, April 5, 2009

I'm very excited to go home :D It's been over a month since I've seen my baby sister! I miss her and everyone else very much!

Sunday 5 April 2009

Daylight savings people! Booya! School starts one hour later! It took Sara ages to figure that out and I only realized after she told me!

Today was quite routine. Woke up, had lunch, went to church, was late for church. The trams were extra squishy today, I don't know why. After church Sara, Jo and I trammed to Starbucks but apparently we were at the wrong place. Once Jo called Aunty Grace, we met them at Little Lamb. We had soooo much for dinner but I still wanted dessert after. Thus Jo, Sara and I walked to Brunetti's.

After dessert, I did the dishes, my laundry, vacuumed the floor, wiped the table tops and cleaned the stove. I also printed out this weeks notes and filed last weeks notes, oh and I spoke to the family. Seems to be the same routine every Sunday.

Erica was so nice! She bought chocolate from Koko Black for me for Easter :) Thanks Erica!

Jo insists that I include my quote in this blog entry. While we were walking back from Brunetti's I said, "I'm so happy, I've had my dessert...Seriously! Kimberley without dessert is one aaaaangry bitch!"

Calorie Count:
-Mac and cheese (lunch)
-Steamboat (dinner)
-White chocolate mousse cake (dessert)
-Doughnuts (snack)
-Cheese sandwich with lea and perrin sauce (supper)

Saturday 4 April 2009

As usual, I was the one who woke everyone up just like I do every Saturday. KIMBERLEY ONG AI LING <3 BRIDGE ROAD!!! I bought two tops for $1.99 each!!! AMAZING HUH??? Got tons of other stuff too including two versace dresses! Presents for Angelica and Mummy :)

Jo met us at Bridge Rd after we did most of our shopping. We then trammed to North Balwyn. I've been spelling it Baldwin all this time and I only just realized like after a month of going there that it's spelt Balwyn!

The three of us are such geniuses! After getting off the tram, we walked all the way to the end of some road to take a bus. The bus guide said that the bus would arrive in 25 minutes so we sat down and prepared ourselves to wait but just as we got comfortable, the bus came like 20 minutes early. We had no idea where the bus was going and I saw some sign at the next bus stop saying that there was another bus that was headed in our direction. Thus we all charged off the bus just as the doors were closing. After getting off the first bus after only one stop, we read the bus guide and it turns out that the bus we wanted to get on didn't run on Saturday so we were stuck. We never did make it to Westfield.

We hung around at the bus stop for a bit because Aunty Grace wasn't home yet. Eventually we decided to walk to her house anyway. The side gate was open so we sat at the balcony for a while. I then received a call from Aunty Grace and she told me where to find the spare key. Jo is such a genius! He walked into the house without knowing where the alarm was so the alarm sounded for a bit before he managed to punch in the code. Once we were in the house, I put the meat in the oven and we all chopped garlic then we sent Jo to the supermarket to buy rice and beans. Funny thing was, the supermarket was back at the bus stop we came from :) Oh and when Jo left the house to go to the supermarket, we realized that the front door wasn't locked :s

Aunty Grace, Nadia and Siemac came back shortly after. Siemac is Nadia's quarter German, quarter Scottish and half Iranian boyfriend from Brisbane. Jo and I totally fooled everyone. They all thought we were dating but it was all for our belated April fools prank. We had dinner and Aunty Grace gave me a pair of Sass and Bide jeans! That totally made up for the disappointing trip to Green with Envy. The rest of the night was spent jamming in Ted's room.

Calorie Count:
-Chicken sandwich (breakfast)
-Lamb slovaki (lunch)
-Mini cupcake (snack)
-Roast beef, chicken and rice (dinner)

Friday 3 April 2009

I didn't do very well for my ARA assignment :( but according to the teacher, she didn't agree with the marking system. She actually gave all of us pretty high marks but the lecturer returned her the scripts and asked her to re-mark them because her class average was too high. We were stuck at the ICT after class because it was pouring.

I fell asleep after my lunch and it was raining so I didn't make it to my intro to micro tutorial. The quickbooks lecture was sooo useless!!!

I cooked after I got back from my lecture then Jo came over and we schemed against Sara. The plan was for Jo to pretend to ask me out, he bought a flower and all so the whole night Sara was like "this is soo weird! I'm like a third wheel again!....I'm so good at predicting scandals that I didn't even know I was predicting one!". It was the funniest thing, she thought I was gonna date Jo. The night market wasn't too great so we bailed early and headed to the crepe shop. As we were sitting eating our crepes outside the crepe shop, I said to Sara, "happy belated April fools!" and she was like "OMGGG!!!"

We went to Starbucks after we had our crepes. Ricky was there so he sat down to chat with us during his break. He didn't remember Sara's "cool", darn! Now she won't be all embarrassed everytime she sees him...it was so amusing! I'll have to find other forms of entertainment now :(

Sara came across this wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supertaster) one night while she was browsing online. I don't like alcoholic beverages, brussel sprouts, coffee, grean tea, carbonated drinks, chilli or olives. Thus Sara thought that I might be a supertaster! At Starbucks, Sara had this drink and she asked me to take a sip of it. I said that I didn't like it because the tea was too strong. Sara and Jo couldn't taste the tea in the drink so we asked Ricky if there was tea in the drink and he was like yeah. I was like "Woohoo!!! I'm a supertaster!!!"

Calorie Count:
-Smoked salmon baguette (lunch)
-Mac and cheese (dinner)
-Banana fritters (dessert)

Ok so to add to the list of people who read my blog, Shabana and Dennis.

I realized that I haven't updated since Monday so I will try my best to rack my little brain to remember what's happened since then.

Thursday 2 April 2009

Early morning lectures, not a great start to a day. After lunch, I spoke to my grandparents then took a nap. Sara called my room which woke me up so we decided to go to David Jones to check out her NARS.

David Jones no longer carried NARS but I did get this very cute head piece :) NARS shifted to Myers so we walked over. NARS was very disappointing but I did find this lip laquer from byTerry which I absolutley fell in love with! But seriously?! $85 for lipgloss?! That's a bit much even for me...Dennis spotted us as he was walking through the cosmetics section, we still don't know why he was there ;) After browsing through much make up, we met him again at David Jones shoe department. Green satin Jimmy Choos <3

Shopping was followed by Starbucks which was followed by dinner and ARA homework. How uneventful my life is :(

Calorie Count:
-Uncle Toby's breakfast bar (breakfast)
-Chilli con carne with rice (lunch)
-Chilli con carne with rice (dinner)
-Probably lots of snacks after that

Wednesday 1 April 2009

I woke up pretty late and I can't remember what I spent the rest of the day doing. I met Shiyou at Koko Black at 6.15pm and we had a little chat before cell.

My first visit to cell group. It was intimidating because I didn't know people. Cell was okay though and after that we bought slovakis on the way home. This strange man went up to Daniel and asked him for a hug. Apparently it was because he missed Melbourne a lot and he wanted hugs to welcome him back to Melbourne. My intial thought was that he thought Daniel was very small and cute so he wanted to hug the small person. Oops!

I completely forgot it was April fool's day so what a waste of a day!

Calorie Count:
-Mrs Mac's beef pie (lunch)
-Iced Chocolate (tea)
-Potato wedges (err dinner?)
-Lamb slovaki (dinner)

Tuesday 31 March 2009

Lessons as usual, how boring! I found out I got a H1 for my principals of business law test though. In between school I followed Sara to the travel agent near Lygon to try and book her ticket home but after all the trouble we gave the staff, her mum decided to book her ticket online instead.

After school, I lounged around at home till it was time for the movie. Jo and I watched Duplicty at Melbourne Central. The movie was exciting but the ending was just ugghhh. It's like you build up all this hype just to flop at the end.

We met Sara, Claire, Kara, Jean, Lionel, Marc and Dennis at the mexican restaurant at Lygon after the movie. Ate Sara's left overs then headed home after buying back pizza for Jo. Sara, Claire and I against Marc, Dennis and Jo for Taboo. Girl's beat guys again! Woohooo!!! We played a rather miserable game of horse even though it wasn't a tie. Funny funny videos of Dennis to be posted shortly.

That darn security guard is an absolute pain in the arse! He chased us away even though we weren't making much noise and he was so bloody rude about it! What a ****! I couldn't find my key when it was time to go up so we searched everywhere for it and I mean everywhere! Under the sofas, behind the pillars, inside the sofas, etc...After much searching, I received a call from Dennis.
Dennis: Your room is 636?
Me: Yeah, you found my key?
Dennis: What did you cook? Your room smells of food and you have a lot of dishes to do.
Me: WTFFF?!?! YOU STOLE MY KEY?!?!
Jo, Claire, Sara and I then ran upstairs and I kicked Dennis' ass!
